Halifax, Nova Scotia — On Oct. 9, Collision Repair magazine visited CAA Atlantic for the EV Repair Tour, supported by Fix Network.
Dozens of attendees, all of whom are connected to and work in the collision repair industry, were treated to presentations from EV experts like Kurt Sampson, CAA Atlantic’s resident EV Guy and three-time EV owner; Andrew MacDonald, auto recycler and collision centre owner, who informed the audience of what happens after an EV collision and Brendan Piper of Next Drive, who presented on EV batteries, discussing both the advancement of charging capacities and the intricacies of high-voltage systems.
David Giles, EV expert; EV education product specialist at Consulab and president of Powered EV Consulting, also spoke at the event—stay tuned for a special feature on Giles’ EV Repair Tour participation.
