According to a company press release, AquaEC Flex is a next-generation, sustainable electrocoat that cures over a wide range of temperatures, allowing OEMs to produce EVs and combustion vehicles on the same assembly lines. It also produces 60 percent fewer volatile organic compound emissions and uses 15 percent less energy.
