Chop Chop: Tesla cuts U.S. prices for the sixth time in 2023, ahead of Q1 earnings report

Austin, Texas — Tesla has once again slashed its prices, this time on Model Y and Model 3 vehicles in the United States.

On late Tuesday, prices on the Model Y Long Range and Performance Units were cut by US$3,000 each. The Model 3 rear-wheel drive was cut buy US$2,000.

Prices remain unchanged in Canada and have remained the same since early April. It is unknown if similar price cuts will be made north of the border.

The company’s first-quarter earnings report are due April 19.
